McCormick Train Park

We went to the train park to ride the holiday train. It was fun as we looked at lights and were also snowed on in Phoenix druing the ride! It was worth the 1.5h wait in line and the kids were so patient. The kids also rode the merry go round and we saw seasame street people. At the end, we warmed up with a cup of hot cocco. We had a great time.

The Ostrich Farm

We went to an ostrich farm that is located toward Tucson and we had a blast! Not only did we feed the ostrichs but they had deer, goats, donkeys and birds where you walked into the cage and they landed on you and you could feed them! The ostrichs like to bite also (my dad got bit on his finger. It was great!) It was so funny to watch te kids! We took a ride in a monster truck around the farm and got detailed on the Arizona wildlife and cactus. 1 ostrich egg equals 2 dozen eggs but we were unable to buy one because they were all out. Jane loved to feed the animals. She was so cute to watch and to listen to her.

Santa

Sant came to visit Wyatt and Jane here in Phoenix at the Bass Pro Shop. Wyatt was excited because he sent Santa a letter this year about all of the toys that he wanted and Sant happend to write him a letter back from the North Pole! It was fun to read Wyatt the letter and watch his expressions as to what Santa had to tell him.

Graduation Day

First I thank Jesus, my savior for His grace and mercy as He gave me the strength and desire to complete my graduate program. With Him, I can do All thiings no matter how big or small. Thank you Jesus. Second, my husband has earned a degree also! Without Bryan's love and support, there is no way that this task could have been accomplished. We made a great team and Bryan stepped out above and beyond with his parenting, household chores, love for his wife, and on top of all that still worked. Bryan, I love you so much and I thank you for making this NP program possible. Thank you for putting up with me and with all of the added stress over the past 2.5 years. You rock! Thank you for all of your love a support. WE DID IT!

Christmas Tree Day

We had a great time going to get our Christmas tree at Lowes! The kids helped pick it out and then we took it home and Wyatt helped cut the netting off the tree. We spent the day listening to Christmas music and decorating the tree. It is always fun to put all of the different ornaments from over the years. It brings back many great memories.

The Silly String

Grandma Lew sent a Christmas package to us and in it was a can of silly string. Watch this entire video to see the kids' reaction! Wyatt loved it and you may guess that Jane did not! This is entertaining!

Thanksgiving 2009

We had one of the best Thanksgivings that we have had in a very long time. Uncle Mike, Aunt Barbara and Great Grandma Wininger all came over to share the day with us. We did our Turkey on the BBQ and it turned out to be excellent! Grandma made an awesome gravy for us from the drippings (I still need to learn how to do such good gravy!) It was nice to share such a relaxing day with great food and wonderful family. Thank you for coming and making our Thanksgiving great! We love you all!

Back to November

We had a great party for Wyatt! We took him to a place where we all jumped in the blown up jumpers! It was such a fun time not only for the kids but also for the adults! Wyatt is really into pirates and he wanted a pirate cake so that is what I did! I attempted to copy a treasure chest picture that I had seen. In the end I learned that adding more candy really makes the cake (and covers up the mishaps!) I can't believe that my little boy is now 4 but he is growing up into such a little man. He is such a polite and loving little boy. He loves playing with his sister (or bossing her around!) He is really into pirates and loves to play with toy guns. As Wyatt continues to learn about who God is, I pray that God will use us and others in his life that he may see, acknowlege and accept God's grace in his life. I love you so much Wyatt!
