Cute Kids

The other day we were getting ready to go the Costco and Wyatt pulled his vest out of the closet and put it on to wear. Bryan said, "let me go and get my vest and wear to too." However, Bryan chickened out and as he set it on the chair in the garage before getting into the car he said, "My vest is too hot for me to wear right now. Yours is not hot like mine." Wyatt was so cute and proud that his daddy wanted to be like him!
Jane loves to help me clean, as you can see below, she is cleaning the windows to help me!
Since Jane is 2 going on 10 and wants to be just like Wyatt, they might as well be twins, she wanted to go to pre-school. Her first day was yesterday and she was so excited! She had to wear her Dora backpack. She is in with the 3 year olds who have been going to school since last fall. She was excited to stay and could have cared less that I was leaving her. In fact, the night before she asked when could she ride the bus to kindergarden! Her class is on Tues and Thurs mornings, and as the news was given to her that she did not have school today like Wyatt, the meltdown began! She cried and cried and said that nobody likes her cause she can't go to school and she wants to go all the days that Wyatt does. The meltdown lasted until after we dropped off Wyatt at school, got home, and then put in a movie and made popcorn. My little baby is already a little girl....as my dad said, "Great. She is going to graduate high school when she is 16 and college when she is 18!"
I love to watch the kids grow and continue to adopt their individual personalities. They are so special and are such great kids. I love you both so much!

Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas season. It began with our annual early Christmas celebration at Grandma and Grandpa Kevin's house. Santa clause came and visited us this year on his motorcycle and brough a present for each child! The kids were amazed and enjoyed sitting on his lap to not only recieve and early gift but to whisper in his ear what they wanted for Christmas morning. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for making such great Christmas memories!
Stephanie, our nanny, gave the kids their early Christmas gifts which included an ASU sweatshirt for Wyatt...he is very proud of his hand sign that Stephanie taught him as he says, "Go Sundevils." I decided this is Ok as I am technically a Bronco and a SunDevil! Jane got some pink boots and they are so cute and girly! If you knew Stephanie, she is such a girly girl and she has so much fun with Jane dressing her, doing her hair and painting her nails! Of course, Jane enjoys it all as well!
We were able to spend Christmas Eve with Aunt Munci and the Cohns! We love them so very much and we were so thankful to share the day with them. We ate, ate more, played games and just enjoyed one antoher. I must admit, Wyatt is awesome at Wii bowling! We love you all and thank you for the hospitality.
Christmas morning is always fun to see the excitement on the faces of our children! Santa brought Wyatt a basketball hoop for outside and a new nerf gun! Jane got the bike that she asked for but apparently wanted a different bike as he first words out of her mouth were, "I don't want that bike. I wanted a blue bike." She eventually decided that she like the Dora bike that she got and she can now ride it! We made prime rib for the first time and had Grandma and Grandpa Kevin over for dinner and boy was it good. Bryan and I decided that together, we are fabulous cooks! Jane was so sweet as she sang the most beautiful song on Christmas morning, Happy Birthday Jesus. Enjoy the video!
The kids spent the night with Kevin and Jeanne on New Years Eve and Bryan and I enjoyed the time playing monopoly revolution and of course, I won! It was a good time, like our young married years, where we felt care free and focused on one another without kids...thank you Kevin and Jeanne!
Our prayer for the new year is that although we have desires of how or where we want to live, what jobs we want, or how we think things should be, that we will continue to trust Jesus that he is truely in control and that things will be and work out for the will He has planned for our lives. We know that in this, we must surrender ourselves daily so that we can be transformed and made new in Him, being able to patiently trus and depend on Him alone.
We love you all and we miss our Boise family so much! We can't wait to be able to visit again....until then, anybody is always more than welcome to come and visit ANYTIME! Happy New Year 2011!

November 2010

Happy 5th Birthday Wyatt! We love you so much! You are such a great, loving, caring and handsome little boy. You are so tender hearted and you want to please us so much. You care and look out for your little sister, which is awesome.
Wyatt was spoiled in that he got his birthday party, with Grandma and Grandpa Lewis and then he got to have some of his favorite people here for his actual birthday...Rodi, Sarah and Leah! He wanted and got a Ninja Turtle Party and was able to have a bounce house for his party that was the Ninja Turtles as well! Some of his friends from school came to his party this year.
Grandma and Grandpa Lew came to visit for Thanksgiving and we had a great time. We love when they come to visit as we get to have special time with them. We had Thanksgiving dinner at our house and made turkey and ham along with all of the other regular food made on this day! Mike, Barbara and Great Grandma Wininger came over and we all had a great time. Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to a movie and also took them to the children's science museum. It was special, fun time that the kids were able to spend with them playing and bonding. Grandma Lew stayed an extra week and we got to spend time shopping together. Please come back again soon cause we miss you lots!

Last Part of October

Nanny and Pappa came to visit for my dad's pituitary follow-up and to hang out with the Spencer's. They took a few days to drive here and brought their camper so they could camp along the way. We had an awesome time with them as usual! We spent days of playing and hanging out. It was the first Halloween that we had visitors so it was fun to have them part of our annual Halloween party! We went to a pumpkin patch and although the prices were "out of this world," we had a great time eating, riding the rides and petting animals! For Halloween, Wyatt was a police officer and Jane was Snow White...not sure where she came up with that since she has never seen the movie! She looked cute and Wyatt looked like a dude! It was hard to say goodbye when it was time for my parent's to leave like it always is but we are sooo thankful for the visits and quality time tht we get to spend with them when they come. Please come again soon! We miss you so much!

October 2010

We traveled to San Diego in October to attend our cousin Sarah's Bat Mitzvah! We had a great time as we stayed in a hotel on the beach where we walked to get coffee and pancakes each morning. We went and toured the USS Midway, which was a blast! The theme of the Bat Mitzvah was Alice in Wonderland and the party was fabulous and we had an awesome time!
